Nail examination using a dermoscope, diagnosing and recommending treatment for various nail diseases — fungal infections, ingrown nails, subungual growths. Nail changes are often a sign of systemic disease — do not ignore them. The appearance of band-like pigmentation on the nail requires a mandatory dermoscopy examination. One of the rarer skin carcinomas, melanoma can also appear on the nails.
